Day 12 - Tony

Today I started off at a good temperature.  The ride was beautiful, then we stopped for gas and I got some vitamin water – a gallon size. Then we headed off onto the road. We kept riding. It started to rain. I sat there in the rain for a long time. Then we finally – well it felt like finally – as in a long time – got to our hotel.  It looked pretty good because it looked like we were in a tourist town. Inside there was a free breakfast place and our room had two TVs and three beds, one a fold out couch. I thought I’d have a good night.

We went out for lunch.  It was really awesome, because they had a gluten free wrap and it tasted really good. Then mom and Tina left for a massage and I had a gluten free cookie, and dad and I went to an espresso restaurant and I had a smoothie. It tasted great!

We went back to the hotel and rested for a while. We went and watched Cars 2 at the movie theater that was right next to the hotel. Then we had dinner. It tasted great. Tina had a brownie fudge split something, and I was stuck with strawberries because I’m gluten and dairy free.

Let me tell you an interesting fact about yesterday…I went to Best Buy and we were looking for headphones and this person (Alisa) helped us find them.  Then she told us that she was a professional gamer and she told us her team’s website (renegadeassault.com).  I was VERY excited!!! She plays a game called Call of Duty – I think my friend in Iraq named Alex plays this game. He’s in the Army and he does artillery.
