Day 4- Tina

Today we had the breakfast buffet at the hotel and then we went to the Old Faithful Education and Visitor Center. I saw a working model of a geyser and it went off when we were there. Then we went to go see Old Faithful and it took a long time for it to go off.

Then we went to see some hot pools; the Prismatic Grand Spring.  One was the Turquois Pool, the Opal Pool, and there was a geyser – the Excelsior Geyser. They were all different colors. In one pool the outer rim was orange, then kind of green, then blue in the middle.

Then we went to the Lower Falls – it was huge! And we saw a herd of buffalos. We keep going around the lower loop and we saw lots of buffalo and some Elk. And then it started to rain. It was cold! We rushed to the hotel so we wouldn’t freeze our legs off.
