Short ride, but long day. Spent a good part of the morning planning for Glacier- or I should say, Fer did. She's got me on a horse tomorrow- a real one that is probably unpredictable, doesn't like Italians and just wants to go back to the barn. Can't wait!
The ride was beautiful but pretty windy today. I've been making adjustments to my bike to deal with the buffeting above 65 MPH. Got it down to a manageable issue, but probably should have used the taller fairing for the trip. Not much I can do about it now.
One thing both Fer and I have noticed- the kids can't really argue much when we are on the bikes and that makes for a more harmonious trip for all concerned. Of course they are pretty good about making up for it at dinner, most days.
