Day 11-Marco

Day 11 was our longest ride yet.  We did about 275 miles of back roads in Montana and Idaho.   Not a great distance for seasoned riders, but a good distance with twins and all the gear we have.  We've done a total of about 1600 miles so far, with about twice that amount in front of us.  I loved the scenery,  but Fer and the kids said it was a little boring after the majesty of Yellowstone and Glacier Parks.

We really have settled into a routine on travel days; sleeping until about 8 am, breakfast and then on the road by 10, lunch about 1, roll into our lodging by 4 and dinner and sightseeing until lights out at 10 PM.  Meals are hit and miss- some places are real finds and some should be lost from memory!  Everyone has a story. And in general the people we meet are pleasant and interesting.

The twins are great travelers, and get along about 75% of the time, which is about the same as at home.  We try to get them some running around time each travel day and that helps.

We are likely running into some rain tomorrow for the first time on the trip.  The kids will get to try out their new rain suits.  We have worked out Tina's hair situation with a genuine Harley pony tail cover (see photo below) which helps with the tangles.

We will be leaving Spokane Washington and heading to Icicle Village in Leavenworth Washington tomorrow.  Fer is planning massages for everyone and a movie night out.
