Quick update on Nolan. Fer talked with his mom and he is doing great with his recovery and is enjoying the blog. Nolan, thanks so much for coming with us, we really enjoy your company!!

Hi Aunt Joan, We got wet slowly today. Should've put the rain suits on, but kept hoping it wouldn't get any worse. We all talked mid-ride at a stop light and everyone voted to keep going instead of stopping. We talked ahead of time about how it might not be exactly a pleasant ride because even with rain suits your feet and hands would be wet. And we discussed how it might help to imagine that we were on an adventure, like pioneers settling the west, to make the misery worthwhile The good news is we all did fine, as in survived. In hind sight, Tony said it made the ride feel longer and he was freezing. Tomorrow is supposed to rain too - we are going to start the day in our rain suits. You can teach old dogs new tricks!
