Day 10 - Tina

We woke and it was very cold. We rode the bikes to a breakfast place called the Montana Coffee Traders. The food was good. We were going to leave when Dad had to go back and get the battery for the camera.

We went horseback riding and I rode a horse named Midnight. Tony rode a horse named Jerry.  Dad rode Blue and Mom rode Buck. We had a tour guide (aka Wrangler) named Danielle. On the ride we tried some wild food growing on the trees in the woods called Witches Hair or Ghost Beard, that didn't taste very good.

The we rode off to go on a boat ride. I found some rocks on the beach. One was purple and shaped like a star and the other one was blue and had a lot of white rings in it. Then we went on the boat ride.  On the boat ride, the Ranger on the boat told us that the water was so green was because it had glacier flour in it, which is rocks ground up by the glaciers.

Afterward, we played on the shore of the lake and found lots more colored rocks but mainly yellow, blue, purple, red, and orange. They looked better wet than they did dry. Then we had to leave because we couldn't stay there. On the way back we stopped at this store and it was fur trading store.  There were a lot of furs of animals and buffalo heads and Indian stuff. I bought a deer leg.

Then we went to the Three Forks Grill and had dinner. Next stop was the cabin. And then we got ready for bed and went to sleep, like usual.
